I know that this season is all about vibrant reds and greens, but I couldn’t resist slipping this beautiful Tibi peplum top into the mix. There are so many events to dress for during the holiday season. Parties with friends, family, and coworkers usually take up most of my time during the month of December. However, you don’t hear me complaining. I love to dress up so I’ll take any excuse I can get to dress extra fancy. I can picture wearing this outfit to any holiday event that you have this season. It’s so easy and comfortable to wear, you won’t even feel like you’re “dressed up.”

This peplum top goes perfectly with these wide leg pants and sequin blazer. I love that the pink pops against the other black elements of this outfit. Lately, I have been favoring this type of combination because highlighting one color screams sophistication. Plus, over the years, I have found that I have acquired a “less is more” attitude when it comes to my clothes. I really love clean, simple lines and I do not like when there is too much going on in one outfit. I have even been wearing less jewelry over the past year because minimalism is where it’s at for me right now. Now, don’t get me wrong, I still love a good statement necklace but there is a time and place for those.
