Sporty Sequins.

When I first laid eyes on this amazing sequin top from Topshop, I  knew that I had to have it. This wasn’t one of those easy buying experiences. Nordstrom and Topshop had both sold out of this particular style and, while I was upset, I could completely understand why. The sporty and fancy mix is perfection and, hello! It’s holiday season, which means sequins, sequins, sequins, at least for me. I stalked this top. Day and night, I kept refreshing the page hoping that it would pop back up in my size. One day, I got an e-mail from Nordstrom telling me hurry the heck up and head on over to their site because one of these beauties had popped back up in MY size. I clicked over as fast as I could and, like magic, the top became mine. It’s even more beautiful in person and it is so fun to wear. You can dress it up, like I did above, or you could dress it down with some distressed skinnies and boots, which I plan to show soon.

Also, my hair is in braids! Braids, people! I was so excited when I twisted them back to semi-resemble an actual hair-do. Are there pieces sticking out everywhere? Sure are. Is there enough hairspray in my hair that I should be afraid to walk by a lit candle. Yup! But I don’t care, my hair is in braids.
