Once the cold sets in, I become obsessed with coats, well, all outerwear for that matter. I just love what a coat can do to transform an outfit. However, while the obsession is there, I often get overwhelmed by all the options that are out there. I usually tend to lean more toward the neutral colors when I’m picking out a new coat and I want it to look special. This Ann Taylor coat has been on my radar ever since I saw it online. Fuzzy textures are huge this winter and I am completely on board with this trend. Not only are fuzzy coats chic looking, but they are extremely warm, which is perfect for someone like me (I’m always cold). While Jonny jokes that I look like a sheep when I wear it, I have fallen in love with this coat. I love the color and the pops of leather that line the zipper. I also love how much “oomph!’ it adds to every outfit.

In other news, my winter vacation is over and it’s back to reality. I took down our holiday decorations yesterday, which always makes me feel so sad, and did a major apartment deep clean to start off the new year. It felt amazing to purge so many things and get rid of garbage that I always tend to hold on to (I’m a major packrat).

Have a great day!
