When I first saw this dress, I knew it was love at first sight. It reminded me of the dress that “The Russian” generously gifts to Carrie Bradshaw in season six of Sex and the City. After drooling over it for quite some time, I finally pulled the trigger and splurged. When I pulled this beauty out of the beautifully wrapped box, I knew in my heart that I had made the right decision. It was even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Even the sew in tag had a perfectly dreamy quote that read “find the silver lining.” Is that not unbelievably fantastic?! Leave it to Kate Spade to make every piece of clothing feel unique and special.

I wore this dress to an event that I hosted at Kate Spade in Palo Alto just last weekend. I know you had a little preview of this dress yesterday, but I just had to take some “blog outfit” appropriate photos as well. It’s just too lovely of a dress to not take a gazillion photos of. Don’t you agree? From the volume of the skirt (hello!) to the fabulous color to the beyond perfect fit, I felt like this dress fully embodied who I am as person and as a fashion blogger. Sometimes, when you have that gut feeling that a piece of clothing is just made for you, you need to splurge and buy the piece. Nine times out of ten, you will not regret it and you will feel like a million bucks walking down the street. Life is short, ladies. Treat yo’self.
