Sure, summers usually mean warm weather, trips to the pool, and evenings spent BBQing with friends and family, but for most people in the 20’s and 30’s, summers also mean wedding season. With so many people wanting to tie the knot in the summer time, I often find it challenging to find multiple outfits that are not only appropriate to wear to weddings (damn all my perfect white formal pieces!) but will also work in a variety of weather conditions. When it comes to wedding dresses, I often struggle finding pieces that will work for more casual weddings. For me, I really prefer to dress up for weddings (it’s fun!) but Jonny and I are going to a more casual wedding at the end of July and I just knew this dress could be perfect for that occasion. I first saw this dress on ASOS’s website a few months back and knew I had to have it. I loved the Gucci vibes for the non-Gucci price and patiently stalked the dress (aka pushed refresh on my browser every hour) until it finally became mine. I’d say definitely worth the wait because not only is this dress unique but it’s so perfect for weddings, blogger events, and even dinners out in SF. Also, you know that I’ve been obsessed with pink lately so this dress was slam dunk for me! Plus, I can eat as many wedding treats as I want and not worry about my food baby showing. YES!

Have a fantastic rest of your Monday!

Luv everything about this – the swing dress, the print and colors are amazing and you have done an outstanding job accessorizing. It all compliments, not overshadows this wonderful dress. Well Done Wannabe!!!!!
