Outfit Details | Blazer (H&M, obsessing over this one), Top (Anthropologie, would love to splurge on this one), Boyfriend Jeans (J Brand), Pumps (Guess, on sale!), Purse (Coach, no longer available), Lipstick (Nars “Schiap”), Sunglasses (Karen Walker).

You guys. I have found my new neutral color for spring. I’ll give you a hint. It’s already one of my favorite colors. It’s….(drumroll please)….pale pink. I have been OBSESSING over this color for the past month or so and have added a few pale pink items to my closet that I am so excited to share with you all. The first item that I am debuting are these amazing (and that is quite an understatement) Guess Plasma Pumps. While I have heard rumors about this particular shoe’s comfort level, I have never taken actually tried them on, which could be due to the fact that I had kind of written off Guess as a “rarely visit” store until recently. When I saw these pale pink pumps in a magazine, I knew that I had to at least check them out and see if the hype was real.

When I walked into the store and saw them on the shelf, I knew that they would be mine. I mean, the color was just so perfect. However, I was able to slow myself down and calmly asked the sales associate if I could try them on. He answered “of course” and added “by the way, did you know everything in the store is an extra 30% off?” Uh…what?! I tried to act cool, but once I slipped those babies on my feet, I knew it was love at first sight. Ladies, these are THE most comfortable pumps I have ever tried on. The insole is very padded and the leather is soft and buttery. They literally feel like you are walking on air. Now, these are four inchers, which is usually a no-no for me (I usually top out at 3.5 in), but they were so comfortable that I made an exception. I walked out of the store, new pumps in hand, and I couldn’t wait to style them.

If you are looking for a well made pair of reasonably priced pumps that won’t kill your feet after 8 hours (that’s how long I wore them on their first day out), these are the pumps for you! The pale pink ones are quickly selling out, so if you’re interested, I wouldn’t hesitate. I can’t wait to style these with everything!

Thanks for reading!

Hi Ashlee!!! I’ve had the best luck with J Brand boyfriend jeans but I’ve heard amazing things about Current/Elliott as well. I saw some cheaper ones on H&M’s website as well that are definitely worth checking out. It took me awhile to find the perfect pair, but once I did, it was a match made in heaven! 🙂
