Do have an outfit that you find yourself coming back to time and time again? Lately, I have been repeating this outfit, sometimes with slight variations (different shoes, a t-shirt, etc.), and can you blame me? Never in a million years did I think I would take to this “boyfriend” fit that has really taken off over the past couple of years. However, now it’s one of my favorite styles. In my opinion, there is something so chic about rocking a casual look.
To keep from feeling schlubby (a.k.a. not put together), I often pair my boyfriend fit items with heels and other feminine details, like a fun headband or bright lipstick. Once it all comes together, I usually can’t help but feel both comfortable and extremely stylish! That’s a win-win in my book!
Oh, can we talk about this gorgeous tote bag for a sec? I have been on the hunt for a cute faux leather tote bag for quite some time now and, much to my surprise, found one at Forever 21! I love the light tan color and it’s the perfect size to fit all my goodies, especially when I run errands. Also, it’s the perfect casual-look accessory, in my opinion.
I wore this outfit to a movie date with Jonny and my parents over Memorial Day weekend and I may or may not have snuck some treats into my new tote bag. Yes, I’m that person. I feel like I’m still coming down from the weekend and, really, shouldn’t every weekend be a three-day weekend? It felt so nice not to have to be rushed to get everything done and still have a few hours to just relax. Le sigh.
