Summer Kickoff.

There are rare clothing moments when everything falls perfectly into place. The fit, style, and print on a particular item are all perfect and all you want to do is wear this item over and over and over. While I love all of my clothes, there are some that feel more special than others. You know, the jeans that fit you just right, the shoes that carry you with confidence, or for me the dress that you can wear all day and not want to change out of. Let me back track for a minute. As much as I love styling my clothes, I relish the end of the day when I get peel off my clothes, slip into my comfy PJs, and lounge on the couch with Jonny. Sometimes, clothing can feel and look great in the morning, but halfway through the day, it can transform into a constricting garment that you can’t wait to rip off your body (please tell me I am not alone in this!).

When I put on this dress, I knew that I wouldn’t want to take it off, but I didn’t let myself get too excited because I wanted to give it the “day test” (wear it for a day to see how amazing it really is) to test for any flaws. Ladies, let me tell you, I wore this for the entire day and did not want to take it off. The cut of this dress is so unique (hello, faux crop top and mismatch stripes!) and the material helps the skirt stay full for the entire day. I’m talking no wilting or even wrinkling. It was amazing. I think I can safely say that this is my new favorite casual dress that I can wear all summer long.

Piperlime sold out of this dress pretty quickly and I was lucky to get one of the last ones. However, I just checked yesterday and I saw that they got a new shipment in. I would act fast. These dresses will fly off the (virtual) shelves in a hot minute.
