Outfit Details | Jacket (Lucy Paris), Top (J Crew Factory, old), Skirt (Lucy Paris, on sale!), Shoes (Valentino), Purse (Lauren by Ralph Lauren), Sunglasses (Karen Walker), Lipstick (Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipgloss in Merlot).

Pattern play is always such a fun way to revisit favorite items in your closet. This Lucy Paris sheer floral jacket has been a favorite of mine ever since I bought it last year. I love that it feels sporty and feminine at the same time, particularly since many clothing items cannot seem to strike such a harmonious balance between the two genres. I have worn this jacket with many different outfits, many here on this blog, but when I paired it with this amazing Tibi-inspired black and white skirt, I was blown away with how fresh it looked. Score!

Skirts are pretty much my jam. I love short ones, midi ones, pencil skirts, and full skirts. They just make me feel happy. When I saw this skirt on Piperlime, I think I squealed because it looked just like the Tibi splatter skirt that I had wanted so badly but couldn’t pull the trigger on last year. The boldness of the black and white adds such a modern feel to a classically shaped skirt and I have been dreaming up all the different types of tops I can wear it with! The possibilities are endless!

These skirts are selling out fast (they are on SUPER sale!) so make sure you grab yours today!

Have a great weekend, friends! See you next week!
