 This week has been special in more ways than one. Thank you to all of you for your kind words of support and encouragement. I so appreciate every single one of you! Celebrating my blog’s very first birthday was such a fun moment, made even more fun by all of you!

I’m ending this week with this awesome sequin blazer that my mom and dad gave me years ago. I love the classic black and the longer length because these elements adds a touch of glam to a more casual outfit. This one is especially easy to wear because it feels more like a sweater than a jacket, which adds to it’s overall comfort. I wanted to layer this special blazer over my new favorite shirt from J Crew because I love the pop of pale blue amongst the mostly black outfit. My beloved chambray shirt from J Crew is going to take a well deserved break thanks to this new top. While the colors are the same, I like the dressier feeling of this longer button down top.
