Well, in honor of my blog’s first birthday, I’ve decided that this entire week of outfit posts will be dedicated to sequin wearing. Let’s be honest, when does a gal not want to wear sequins? Hanging up in my closet, I have two different sections for my sequin clothing: one half includes all the items that are appropriate to wear year-round and the other half are my holiday time sequins. Really, I could just make them all work year-round but I like to at least fool myself into believing I’m that organized.

Last year, I dipped my toe in the “you could probably pull off sequin pants if your tried” water, and this year, I am totally going for it. The pants that I wore last year were track pant style and I found that the waist always stretched out and that I was constantly trying to hike them up throughout the day. I realized that I need sequin PANTS and not sequin LEGGINGS. I’ve remedied this issue this year with these stunning Milly sequin pants. They are high-waisted (yes!), they come with a leather bow belt (double yes!!), and they fit a touch baggier making them super comfortable to wear (triple yes!!!). I signed up to receive e-mail alerts from Milly just so I could receive the 15% discount and, let me tell you, I have no regrets. Even Jonny said he liked them (cue angel music pouring down from the heavens).

Is anyone else as excited as I am for dressing for the holidays? Every year, I always seem to gather most of my outfit inspiration once the holidays have already past but I have made a pact with myself to really go for it this year. Who’s with me!?

Thanks for reading!
