Shimmer Knit

Shimmery threads have been calling my name this season. Sure, it IS the holiday season and yes, everything is basically covered in glitter and sequins and while I love both those things, I am loving the slightly more understated shimmery fabrics like this sweater. There’s kind of a funny story behind this sweater. Before I found this guy, I wanted the VERY expensive designer version of it. Isabel Marant is one of my favorite designers so it was no surprise that I was drawn to her shimmery fuzzy sweater. However, I just couldn’t seem to pull the trigger because it was $500. I told myself that I would keep an eye on it in case it went on sale. Then, one day, I was in H&M returning something and this sweater caught my eye. It looked EXACTLY like the Isabel Marant one I wanted so dearly. I tried it on and to my surprise, it was super soft and it fit perfectly. The best part? It was only $19! Well, it goes without saying that I walked out of the store, sweater in hand, and never looked back. I have worn this piece so many time and every single time I do, someone always comments on it. It looks expensive without the designer price tag and I know I will wear the heck out of it!
