Outfit Details | Jacket (Lucy Paris, on sale!), Top (Zara, always love this as an option), Track Pants (Wayf via Nordstrom, similar), Shoes (New Balance for J Crew), Purse (Lauren by Ralph Lauren), Sunglasses (Karen Walker), Earrings (Etsy), Lipstick (Stila Stay All Day Vinyl Lipgloss in Merlot).

“Sporty chic” has not been a part of my style vocabulary mainly because I tend to leave my sporty attire (aka my ratty gym clothes) to my weekly workouts. However, this whole “sporty chic” look has really taken off and I have to admit, I really like it. When it comes down to it, what’s not to like? It’s comfortable, put together, and fun! So here you have it. My attempt at a sporty look and, I have to say, I am really into it! Of course I added my favorite sheer floral bomber jacket because it gives this look the perfect touch of femininity.

I have been looking for the perfect pair of “walking around” tennis shoes that were still fashion forward and comfortable, a combination that is harder to find than you think! I knew that I wanted New Balances (sorry old Converse, this girl needs a touch more support nowadays…do I sound like an old lady yet?) but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go for a bold color or something more neutral. I finally came to the conclusion that I would want to be able to wear these tennies with everything so I went with a more neutral color. I actually picked these up during J Crew’s Columbus Day sale so I got them for a great price. They are soooooo comfortable and really fun to wear. I couldn’t stop staring at my feet, partly because they are so cute and partly because I am not used to seeing my feet in tennis shoes. I’ve already worn them multiple times and I am excited that I finally have a pair of cute and comfortable shoes to wear on days that I do a lot of walking.

Thanks for reading, loves!
