While spring has officially arrived in the city by the bay, the wind sure has been blowing all day everyday. While I don’t mind a nice afternoon breeze, the wind has been wreaking havoc on my hair since there is no such thing as a cute “windblown” pixie. So, please excuse my hair in these pictures. However, I will take the wind to keep this warm weather that we have been having lately. Small sacrifices right?
I have been experimenting with crop tops lately and I think I have found my new favorite. You know that feeling when you have been eyeing an particular item for awhile, you finally cave and buy it, and then when you open it it’s even more speculator than you imagined it to be? That’s exactly how I felt when this top arrived on my doorstep. The length of this crop top is absolute perfection and I am already pairing it with all my other skirts in my wardrobe. For it’s debut here on zee blog, I wanted to pair it with my graphic kate spade new york windowpane skirt because, lez be honest, what doesn’t look amazing with this skirt? I love the mix of the two different prints (stripes + windowpane = love) and the pop of red, courtesy of my beloved J Crew necklace, is the icing on the cake to this fun spring outfit.
Thanks for stopping by!
