I have been on the hunt for a pleated skirt and this Zara one was love at first sight. I honestly thought that pleats would make my hips appear wider than they already are (this girl doesn’t need help in that department!) but I was pleasantly surprised to find that this skirt was actually very slimming. The deep green is perfect for pairing with lots of holiday inspired outfits, like the one above. I love mixing deep jewel tones, like this evergreen and oxblood, because they compliment each other and add an unexpected twist to an outfit. Couldn’t you see yourself dressing this little skirt up or down for the holidays?! Speaking of holidays, I am counting down the days until my winter break. I’m so excited to visit with friends and family and just enjoy the good cheer all around.

I have always loved pleats – skirts, dresses, blouse fronts, you name it – and this skirt it perfect! Luv the oolor, great for any season really, and luv that it is a flattering style, not always an easy trick with pleats. The colors you have used here are inspirational, JEWELS! Great outfit.
