Outfit Details | Sweatshirt (Sincerely Jules), Collar (J Crew, old), Pants (Piper via Nordstrom), Headband (J Crew, love this one), Rings (Etsy), Purse (Coach, no longer available), Shoes (J Crew, similar), Lipstick (MAC “Snob”).

For today’s outfit, I only added a couple small pops of pink because I love the look of an all black outfit with just pop of color here and there. Currently, this “Celfie” sweatshirt is one of my favorite items in my wardrobe because it literally goes with everything. I love the graphic look of the black and white and how this sweatshirt can be easily dressed up or dressed down, depending on the occasion.

To give a little edge to this outfit, I added my faux leather track pants that I absolutely cannot get enough of. I have struggled finding a good pair of faux leather pants to add to my wardrobe but could never seem to find the right pair for my body. I tried the leggings and found that I was constantly pulling at the waistband because they kept sliding whenever I sat down, which is one of my major pet peeves with leggings in general. I found these pants on clearance online and decided to give them a shot. The company actually sent me the wrong pair of pants (the ones that I originally ordered were bunched at the bottom of each leg opening) but I ended up liking these much better! I love that they look like real leather pants without the hefty price tag and have noticed that the waistband stays put!

For my Valentine’s Day pops of pink, I added my beloved Coach Basket Clutch, which is sadly no longer available, and my amazing removable J Crew collar. This collar originally came from another sweater but, since it’s removable, I can put it on pretty much everything. I feel like it helps make any outfit look put together, even if it’s paired with a sweatshirt! Hooray for versatility! Also, I experimented with “poofing” up my hair, combing it straight back, and securing it with a headband instead of leaving my bangs forward like I usually do. I just was itching to try something new and this was the result!

I love the all black with a pop! TOO bad the Coach bag is no longer available; I would have to hunt it down. Very chic look.

Hi Di! Thank you so much! I don’t want to play devil’s advocate, buuuut there may be a few of those Coach clutches available on eBay! 🙂

Luv the little collar. A million years ago, I had several detachable collars that really worked wonders with just a few sweaters/sweatshirts/rounded necked dresses. Maybe we should bring them back?????
