Guys, I have a confession to make. Okay here it goes. I’ve…never…been…to…Paris. I’m assuming your mouth gaped out and you gasped a little, which is the correct response. I have freaking never been to Paris and it is a damn travesty. Sure, I’ve dreamt about the picturesque streets, fantasized about what I’d wear, and made myself drool over all the croissants I would eat but I have never been.
On our travel list, Paris is right at the top as the place Jonny and I would love to see the most. Before we start to expand our little family, we need to go to the most magical city in the world. It’s a must. The other night, I watched Midnight in Paris, quite possibly one of Woody Allen’s most beautiful movies (I’ve seen so many of his masterpieces and this one always leaves me with the most yearning for Par-ee) and I like to imagine Jonny and I getting lost on the little French streets (and not caring one bit!) while holding an extra chic baguette. Until the day comes, I will continue to be a Wannabe French Girl right here in SF. Le Sigh.
I just made my way to Paris for the first time over winter break. It was beyond my dreams!! You gotta go!! Love this outfit.
Before I went to Paris, I heard SO many horror stories about how dirty it was and how mean the people were (not my words I swear!!) , but it exceeded all my expectations when I went! It was everything I have ever dreamed of and more, even while being there in a constant downpour. My only tip… eat as many baguettes as you possibly can. I took 2 home in my carryon and it never could have been enough. Literally LIFE CHANGING.
