I have been DYING to share this beautiful Marissa Webb jacket with you all for weeks now. I bought it awhile ago and just haven’t had the chance to shoot it. Okay, that’s not entirely true. The real reason why it’s taken awhile is that I was waiting for the perfect “outfit moment” to debut this piece. I have been wanting this jacket for a couple of years now, so when it finally made it’s way into my closet, I was overjoyed! However, I almost felt intimidated to wear it. Maybe intimidated is too intense of a word, but I did find myself pulling it down from my closet, admiring it, and then feeling like I didn’t have the right outfit to pair it with. Has this ever happened to you before? It’s something I go through with many new items of mine. It’s so strange, because once I force myself to wear it, I can’t STOP! Just like this Marissa Webb jacket, I can’t stop wearing it because I am obsessed with how unique it is. It has the ability to make any outfit look high end and the short sleeve look is so edgy! In the end, I chose to debut this piece with my favorite ribbed dress from last winter and the shoes I won (!!!!) in a recent Instagram contest. I have to say, I’m pretty happy with the result.

There is something that is so sophisticated and yet so easy about this outfit. The dress is one that you could pull out of your closet and wear again and again, changing accessories to look different ever time. The jacket is awesome and I love those shoes…..Great shots, great job.
