An Evening With Sachin & Babi

Doesn’t this outfit just scream “BRING ON THE HOLIDAY SEASON?!” I thought the same thing when I slipped into this dream two piece stunner from Sachin & Babi. But before we get into all that, I want to tell you about one of my favorite moments from NYFW this past September. Back in August, I had started to become friendly with the team behind the incredible husband and wife founded design house, Sachin & Babi, through campaigns that they thought I would be a good fit for. From there, I developed a relationship with their marketing staff (they are the SWEETEST) and I mentioned that I was going to be making the trek from San Francisco to NYC for NYFW. They asked if I would be interested in being dressed by Sachin & Babi for one of my NYFW events AND an invitation to see their beautiful showroom in person. Of course, I said “YES” because being dressed by such incredible designers like Sachin & Babi was basically a “pinch me” moment. I always admired other bloggers that were dressed by their favorite designers for big events and I couldn’t believe that I was going to have the same thrilling experience! Now, a lot of bloggers that make it big time and are always dressed for events often seem like the excitement and thrill of such an incredible experience has worn off as it just becomes a reality in their career. However, I have never been one to hide my five-year-old-level giddiness and honestly, experiences like being dressed by Sachin & Babi are always incredibly special and exciting to me because I feel honored that I get to wear beautiful clothes made two designers that I truly admire AND that I get to further my professional relationship with a design house that is very rooted in the design world. Anyway, what I’m really trying to say is that wearing Sachin & Babi to see Christian Siriano’s runaway show with my partner-in-crime, Sarah, was pretty much the highlight of my NYFW trip because the entire night felt like a dream come true.
