I know I’m a little late to the “Thanksgiving” blog post but I wanted to fully focus on spending time with my family and loved ones. So, instead I am doing a “Black Friday” post to support all of you who braved the cold air, early mornings, and crowds of people to get the most amazing shopping deals of the season. Last year, I actually participated in Black Friday for the first time and, while I have to admit that it was exhilarating for a bargain shopper like myself, I learned that I am more of a “Cyber Monday” type of gal. Nowadays, we don’t even have to wait until Cyber Monday since most of the insane online deals now start on Thanksgiving day and last throughout the weekend. Plus, who doesn’t LOVE online shopping?!
For my Thanksgiving festivities, I decided on what some would deem a “fancy” outfit. As you can see, this included a skirt, a sequin top, and heels. I often find that I am always the girl that’s overdressed for every occasion. I used to be embarrassed of this label, but now I find that I love being overdressed and I will take any occasion to dress up. So, the next time you’re debating whether or not you want to glam it up for an occasion, try an outfit that you may think is too fancy. You may find that feeling fancy makes you feel great!
I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving. Enjoy your holiday time!
P.S. J Crew is offering 30% off your ENTIRE order and so is ASOS. Also, Piperlime is offering 25% off your entire order and and additional 40% off sale! There are too many sales to list here so browse the cyber sales from the comfort of your own couch. Enjoy!
Great outfit! Not too dressy for my taste, but then I am a blingy type, so you would have to go some to be too dressy for me! It will be me and my computer for the next week. Thanks for the tips!
Classy and fun look!
Hi Lisa! Thanks for reading! Plaid is always a fun fall/winter look!
