Outfit Details | Coat (J Crew), Sweater (Forever 21), Top (J Crew), Faux Leather Leggings (Leith via Nordstroms, sold out but similar here), Shoes (Zara, old but similar style here), Sunglasses (Karen Walker), Lipstick (MAC “Ruby Woo”).

I’m not much of a sports gal, but when my teams (the San Francisco Giants and the San Francisco 49ers) are playing, I always pay attention. I was born into 49er and Giants fandom (my dad is a huge fan) so I’ve spent many a Sunday watching the 49ers play. Now that the 49ers are making a push for this year’s Superbowl, my family has been getting together to watch the games together.

Since I wore this outfit to the first playoff game, I wanted to make sure I was sporting the 49ers colors (red and gold). Going casual does not always come naturally to me (I just love dressing up!) but I wanted to sport (heehee) more of a laid back outfit for a day of watching football. I knew there would be a lot of cheering, jumping up and down, and just a lot of movement in general, so I knew that I wanted to wear pants. This was my first time debuting these faux leather leggings here on the blog. I don’t know why, but faux leather leggings seem to always been one of those “iffy” pieces of clothing for me. I was never quite sure (still not completely sure) if I could pull them off because I tend to feel self-conscious in them, which is weird because I love regular leggings (hello, J Crew Pixie Pants!). I’m starting to get better at styling them, but for right now, I’ve been sticking to wearing them with slightly oversized sweaters, like my new favorite sweater shown above. I’m going to keep working on more outfit combinations and keep you posted!

This sweater. THIS sweater!!! Okay, you all know that I’m a budget-babe but I rarely, and by rarely I mean NEVER, go to Forever 21. I don’t really have anything against Forever 21 per se, but whenever I go into that store I am ready to leave in under two minutes. The quality is not the greatest and I always feel like I can never find anything that fits me right. So many of my friends and bloggers wear Forever 21 so well, so maybe it’s just me. However, this sweater is from Forever 21 and I LOVE it. The quality is pretty good for a $22 sweater and I have been very happy with how flattering the shape is! Plus, I am such a sucker for black and white these days, so the bold lettering had me at hello. It just goes to show that you can find amazing fashion finds everywhere, you just have to look!

Thanks for stopping by!

Omg I love this! Which neighborhood is Eric’s in? I’m in the market for a bomb Chinese place – I’ve tried a couple around me but none are up to par.
