I recently welcomed a new beauty trick into my regime. Ever since I cut my hair pixie-short, I use headbands when I wash my face and when I’m getting close to the I-can’t-stand-my-hair phase right before a much needed haircut. When I was reading one of my magazines, my eyes were drawn to a small DIY headband technique featured on one of the page corners. Honestly, if I wasn’t reading every word on each page, I would’ve missed it. Anyway, I learned that if you take an old pair of tights and snip the leg parts into either wide or small rings (like in the pictures shown above), you can actually make yourself a super cheap and REALLY amazing headband. I tried this out on an old pair of my tights (because who doesn’t have an old ripped pair of tights lying around?), and it’s not only easy but they headbands are stretchy enough to fit anyone’s head but they are strong enough to hold all your hair in place. I just had to share this with all of you so that you could be let in on this awesome beauty secret. Thanks for reading!
