This is a little more of a glamified outfit for today’s “How To Wear Chartreuse” post. Since the sweater, which is one of my very favorites, is so bright, I wanted to let it shine with all it’s neon greatness by pairing it with other lighter pieces, like this fantastic lace skirt that I love oh-so-much! Since pastels are having a major moment right now, look for pieces that are timeless in either shape or style, like this pencil skirt. While the lace overlay is very of the moment, the pencil shape gives a classic look with a twist. Plus, since pastels are basically like the new neutral, you can essentially pair them with everything and anything, even something as bright and bold as neon chartreuse.

Honestly, when I was putting this outfit together, I did not originally see neon and pastel going together, but now that I see it, they really do work together nicely. The neon sweater with the pastel skirt is unexpected and fresh, which is something that I always try to achieve with my outfits. Plus, if you can’t take a fashion risk every once and awhile, you may not discover new outfit ideas! I would wear this outfit to a fun social event, a party, or even out to a nice dinner with Jonny. Really, the possibilities are endless because it’s just so darn fun.
