I know, I know, I know. I have shown this Banana Republic Faux Fur Pullover to you guys so many times, but really, that’s how obsessed with it I am! For those cold days, it really is a perfect topper to many different kinds of outfits (I haven’t tried this pullover with any skirts yet, but it has definitely crossed my mind!).
For today’s look, I experimented with my amazing new Kate Spade bow belt that I got for Christmas. I have wanted a bow belt ever since I missed the opportunity to get my hands on the popular Ann Taylor one that came out last year. I think this is a very close alternative and I love how the belt looks with the faux fur! Since this top can be bit overwhelming due to the bulkiness of the material, belting it right in the middle helps to cinch in the waist and break up the boxiness. While I love the boxy shape, I found that adding a belt helped to give it a fresh and feminine look that also makes it look dressier. You all already know how much I love these plaid pants and I think they are such a fun compliment to the fur. Plus, the colors of the plaid are muted enough where it doesn’t feel like they are competing with the faux fur.
Have I convinced you to go out and find yourself your own faux fur piece? I sure hope so!
God I’ve been dying to get a coat like that. so pretty!! I dont think ive seen it with that print of pants before. I love it!!! 🙂
