You guys, I think I’ve found my clothing obsession for fall/winter 2013. Let me introduce you to my Faux Fur Pullover from Banana Republic. This is another one of those magical pieces that everyone should have in their closets. Not only is it beautifully made (fully lined) and very easy to wear (really, it is), but it is extremely comfortable and incredibly chic. I honestly feel like a 1950’s movie star when I am wearing this piece.
I’m going to be honest with you. I loved the look of this pullover during my try-on session in the store, but I doubted whether or not I could pull it off without looking like a fuzzy brown bear. However, my doubt was quickly squashed when one of Banana Republic’s sales associates reminded me that I could take 40% off the sticker price! Sold. I brought it home with me and couldn’t wait to share it with you all! When the day came to debut it, the boy’s initial reaction was “its…loud,” which is usually code for “I’m not quite sure what to think of it,” but he quickly came around and couldn’t deny it’s beauty.
This Faux Fur Pullover embodies exactly what I love about fashion and how I feel about my own personal style. It’s fun, it’s unique, it’s chic with a little bit of edge, and it is incredibly special. And you know what? I felt amazing when I wore it, which is the most important thing of all. Hurry into your local Banana Republic stores and at least try it on while you have the chance because I have a feeling this piece is going to be one of the most coveted pieces this winter.
P.S. You may have noticed that I am holding delicious looking donut. If you are ever in Marin (read about my favorite Italian restaurant located only a few miles away), stop by Johnny Donuts in San Rafael. This place makes the best donuts I have ever tasted. I mean, I’m holding a blueberry lavender infused donut. Enough said.

Hi Amber! The pullover is beyond amazing because it actually breathes. I am usually one that gets too overheated in faux fur but this piece is so well made that I can stay cool or stay warm when I need to. I love it!
