I’ve been wanting to try this whole beret trend for a few months now but I could never bring myself to buy one. Don’t ask me why! It’s one of my weird quirks where I knew I wanted one but I just never pulled the trigger because I wasn’t really sure a beret would suit me. Luckily, my sister, Ariana, bought one and was kind enough to lend it to me for this shoot. Long story short, I ended up LOVING how the beret completely elevated this outfit and made me feel so Parisian chic I could barely stand it. I mean, it’s pretty much the easiest accessory EVER and you can wear it a few different ways (further back on your head, off to the side, or pulled down and worn straight like how I’m wearing it here). Even Shannon (my friend and photographer) commented on how this shoot made her want to buy a beret as well!
I have also been completely obsessed with this plaid blazer that I picked up at Le Point a few weeks ago. I cannot stop wearing it with everything, which tells me that I made the right choice bringing it home with me. It’s perfectly oversized and the plaid print is totally on trend of this fall and winter. Plus, I really love pairing the two plaid prints together for a fun outfit twist without being too matchy matchy. To be honest, it may be my current favorite addition to my wardrobe this season.
