I have been finding myself dress obsessed lately. Many of you know that dressing for summer temps is typically not my favorite because I feel like I fall into a style rut after awhile. Whenever these summer style ruts pop up, I usually just turn to dresses as they are just incredibly effortless and don’t require a ton of extra styling and thought. I remember seeing this Self Portrait dress and being stunned by how beautiful it was. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the shape of it on me, but when I slipped it on, the ease and style of this dress were enough to sell me. Plus, there are so many beautiful details. The tie sides (adjustable!), the ruffled asymmetrical neckline, and the beautiful hemline all felt so unique to me. Plus, it totally helps that every time I put it on, it fits like a glove and makes me feel like a million dollar so yeah, I would say it was a good investment. This is definitely a splurge worthy item but if you are going to invest in one white dress that you will keep forever, I would highly recommend taking a chance on this one. Trust me, once you put it on, it’s magical will reel you in and you won’t want to take it off.
