As you know, the Verso Skincare line is by far one of my favorite skincare lines I have come across. Ever since I turned 30 (I’m now 32), skincare is my biggest priority when it comes to beauty. Wanting to introduce more retinol based products into my life, I started researching skincare lines that would best suit my needs. Naturally, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve noticed more fine lines appearing around my eyes and on my forehead. While I am 100% fine with aging naturally, I want to preserve my youthful glow for as long as I can.
As I researched, Verso’s Skincare line immediately stood out to me. Launched in 2013, the majority of Verso products contain Retinol 8, which is the most powerful level of Retinol that skincare products can have. Plus, the Retinol 8 formula has been proved to be eight times as effective (hence the name Retinol 8) and half as irritating as traditional Retinol, which is something that really stood out to me since I had sensitive skin. When I first tried Verso products last December, I was shocked at the immediate results I saw on my face. Not only did my skin feel smooth, but I could actually feel the products working. My skin felt tingly, tight by hydrated, and I almost felt like I could see my fine lines disappearing right in front of my eyes. I was hooked!
So, when my friends at Verso wanted to send me a few new-to-me products, I couldn’t wait to try them out for myself and all of you! Lets break them down one by one:
1.) Verso Deep Hydration Mask:
This was my very first sheet mask and, to be honest, I applied the top part upside down. Oops! We all gotta learn somewhere, right? Anyway, after I got my facial at SkinSpirit, my esthetician told me that I needed to focus on hydrating my skin for the few days following my treatment. I thought this would be a great opportunity to try one of these masks. Unlike other sheet masks, these masks are applied in two parts, a top and a bottom, which I actually found easier to apply. After letting the mask sit on your face for 20 minutes, you remove the two pieces and rub the remaining residue into your skin for even more hydration. My skin was GLOWING after I tried this mask and my skin felt incredibly hydrated and soft, which is exactly what I wanted.
2.) Verso Enzyme Peel:
I am obsessed with peels that you can do at home. They are typically very easy to apply and I knew that with Verso skincare’s potency, I would be able to see results pretty quickly. This specific peel removes dead skin cells, unblocks pores, and accelerates cell renewal leaving you with an automatic glow. You only leave this mask on for 1-3 minutes (I left mine on for 3) and then you rinse it off with warm water. My mom and I actually tried this mask together and we loved the results. Our skin felt tighter immediately but not dry! You use this mask 1-3 times per week and I love how quick the whole process is. I’m all about efficiency, people!
3.) Verso Antioxidant Turmeric Booster:
This is a powerful facial serum with instant immediate and long-term antioxidant effect. I haven’t included an antioxidant booster to my skincare regime until now and all I have to say is I wish I hadn’t waited so long! Enriched by Turmeric and Vitamin E, this one combats free radicals and improves how your skin hydrates itself, which is so awesome. The result is a more youthful appearance sooooo yeah, you’re gonna love it.
