The Best Hotel In Quebec City: Hotel 71

View Post

I've stayed at quiet a few hotels in my lifetime but there are a few that really rise to the top of my favorites list. Hotel 71 has most definitely made it to my "favorites" for quiet a few reasons. Hotel 71 is nestled in the best location within the walls of Old Quebec. Only a 15 minute ride from the airport, Hotel 71 feels very central to everything that is happening in Old Quebec. Since Hotel 71 is located near the bottom of Old Quebec, you have an incredible view of the river, which also harbors a cruise ship port and a beautiful river walkway that gives you the most stunning view of Old Quebec at sunset.

Another Miller sister trip is in the books! If you didn't already know, Ariana (my younger sister!) and I are besties and love to travel together so we have been making more of an effort to go on multiple sister trips throughout the year. A couple months ago, we traveled to NYC, followed by this summer trip to Quebec, and we are thinking about going to Hawaii next! We always have the best time and it's so fun traveling together this year. While we were gone, quite a few of my readers reached out and asked whether or not I would be creating a Quebec travel guide for those that were interested in traveling there so here we are!

Good2Go

Thank you Good2Go for sponsoring this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Living in a bustling city like San Francisco, it can be hard to be out and about all day and not really know where you can grab something quick to eat/drink, take a break to scroll through your Instagram, or even find a decent place to use a restroom. I find this especially hard when I’m visiting a new city and do not know the layout very well. The thought of not being able to find a convenient bathroom when I need one can be stress-inducing and has even made me shy away from hydrating myself because I just did not want to deal with it. In particular, finding a clean and convenient bathroom has always been difficult for me, especially since I drink a ton of water (and Boba Guys) which translates to me needing to use the restroom, like, all the time. Luckily, Good2Go came into my life and has made this stress-inducing task much simpler and dare I say, fun? Instead of walking around aimlessly looking for a restroom, I downloaded the Good2Go app to help me find the nearest Good2Go restroom location. Let me tell you, it was incredibly easy! Once the app downloaded, I opened the app, which very quickly located me on a map of San Francisco. I was in the Mission grabbing my weekend Boba Guys fix and Good2Go brought me to the closest Good2Go restroom location, which was Stanza Cafe on 16th St, super close to where I was. I was honestly shocked with how many Good2Go locations popped up on the app and immediately felt at ease knowing that I could spend my day walking around SF without worrying about where I was going to stop and use the restroom. Score! Once Good2Go locates you, you can then choose which location you would like to use. Unlike most public bathrooms, Good2Go restrooms are all hands free and VERY clean. Sometimes, it takes a lot of bravery to walk into an unknown public restroom because who KNOWS what you’re going to find. Trust me, I think we all have our own public restroom horror stories. However, Good2Go restrooms are NOT public restrooms. They are located within retail establishments, available to customers or Good2Go app users! Which means there’s no inconvenient need to wait in line just to get the bathroom code or key, because the Good2Go app manages it all for you at its participating locations. Also, Good2Go makes it easy to spot participating locations with fun sandwich board signs that let you know you’re in the right place. Okay, let’s talk about how AWESOME these bathrooms are. Like I mentioned, Good2Go bathrooms are incredibly clean and they are also very high tech making them not only easy to use but fun to use as well. Each Good2Go restroom is gender inclusive and they each include a changing table, which is a great feature to have for parents on the go. When you arrive at your location, you opt to join the line for the restroom. No need to even wait awkwardly outside the door because the Good2Go app will let you know when it’s your turn. Once it’s your turn, you have around 30 seconds to head over to the restroom. When you reach the door, the Good2Go app will have a green button that will allow you to open the door. As an alternative a QR code will be displayed on the app to be scanned at the door if the green button is not used during the a lotted time frame. Once the barcode is scanned, the door pops open creating the start of an incredible hands free experience. No gross key, no barcode that never works on the first try, just your phone and the Good2Go app barcode and you are IN! When you are ready to leave, you waive your hand in front of the sensor and the door pops open again for your exit. Easy peasy! Good2Go has made it incredibly easy for me to find clean and reliable restrooms at participating locations without the stress. Good2Go is also offering a free trial period for new users so you can also experience their amazing app for yourself. Trust me, you’ll love it just as much as I do.

Glossier SF Pop Up

When Glossier announced that they were going to be hosting a limited time pop-up right here in my beloved city of San Francisco, I just about lost my mind...and so did the rest of SF. As you all know, Glossier is my makeup go to. I've literally switched out all of my makeup to Glossier products and my skin has never been better and my makeup confidence is through the roof. I have never been one to wear a ton of makeup and there's nothing I hate more than when my skin looks like it's slathered in a ton of it. Since I am definitely more about the more natural makeup look, it seemed like a match made in heaven once I started using Glossier products. I just love their "skin first, make up second" motto because that's truly how I approach my beauty routine, especially now that I'm in my 30's. Instead of covering up myself, I just enhance my features! I mean, don't get me wrong. Glossier's stretch concealer is a life saver for covering up unwanted pimples and late night/early morning sleepiness, but I love that their products never make me feel like I'm covered in makeup.
