The start of my very favorite season is upon us. FALL IS IN THE AIR, people!!! As much as I've adapted to summer and summer style, fall and winter are my first loves. Now that summer is coming to a close, I am starting to get really excited to bust out my plaid pieces. However, San Francisco fall is warmer than much other cities so I always have to keep transitional dresses on hand to help me, well, transition with the season.

Anyone else craving fall but it seems socially unacceptable to wear fall clothing when September just began? Not that I usually bend to what society expects of me when it comes to style, SF tends to get pretty warm this time of year (we finally get our summer) and it always irritates me. I know I should be thankful for the hot weather after a summer that was basically, well...cold, but once September comes, all I want to do is wear the fall pieces that I have been collecting.

I have definitely got fall on my mind and this dress is making even more excited for the pending season. As much as I love summer for the vacation, the warmth, and the long days, I always find myself craving fall and winter toward the end of summer. I think my style is most "me" during these cooler months because I love layering and outerwear.

There are some pieces that stand out from the rest and this dress is one of those special pieces. I have been a Zimmermann fan for quite awhile but this dress caught my eye immediately. I knew I HAD to have it and I don't regret this splurge purchase one bit. Every time I wear it, I feel like a million bucks.

How To Find Designer Items For Less Money

How To Find Designer Items For Less …

Hello friends, and happy Monday! One of the questions I get the most via blogging is how I find my designer items. As a sale aficionado, I have really perfected my craft when it comes to finding designer pieces for less money or on major sale. Also, I should say, over the past five years or so (interesting that I've also been blogging for five years...could they be connected!?!?!), my taste in clothing and accessories has grown quite...expensive. It honestly irritates me how luxe my taste has grown because it gets pricey but I think that my wardrobe is also now filled with quality pieces that I love and cherish instead of ones that are cheap and throwaway. So, really, I wouldn't have it any other way.
