Over the past couple of years, I have really grown to love western inspired details. If I'm being really honest, I've loved them every since I was a kid. I was really obsessed with all things related to Anne of Green Gables aka Prairie chic at it's greatest. I really love incorporating prairie inspired details into my looks, especially my summer looks when all I want to do is frolic through golden fields at golden hour.
It probably doesn't surprise you that this dusty shade of pink is my favorite. I love that it almost acts as a neutral but at the same time, it evokes such feelings of femininity that I can't help but smile when I wear this sweet color. I bought these pants at the beginning of the summer and I have been wearing them non stop since I first put them on. I love that they are super comfortable and that they have a high rise waist (praise be for the high waist!!) so I can wear them with a variety of different pieces.
If I had to pick one brand that I owe my newish found love of summer dressing to, that brand would be Reformation. I have found that I have absolutely no self control when it comes to shopping at this store. Fortunately for my wardrobe and unfortunately for my wallet, there is a Reformation store within walking distance from where I live and another one that just opened up in SF a couple of months ago. So, not only do I obsessively stalk Reformation's new arrival section online, but I also stalk it in store.
I have been finding myself dress obsessed lately. Many of you know that dressing for summer temps is typically not my favorite because I feel like I fall into a style rut after awhile. Whenever these summer style ruts pop up, I usually just turn to dresses as they are just incredibly effortless and don't require a ton of extra styling and thought.
