Spring Gingham

Spring Gingham

View Post

This happens to me every year. One I start prepping my wardrobe for spring, all I want to wear is gingham. I feel like gingham is the epitome of spring style for me. It's fun, it reminds me of picnics in the warm sun, and it's really easy to pair with a bunch of different things. I recently picked up this gingham top from Zara and I absolutely love it. Not only can I wear it as a long sleeve top (I always prefer long sleeves!) but you can push up the cuffs a bit to make the upper part of the sleeve a little bit more voluminous, which is super fun. I can't wait to wear this top all spring and summer! Do I dare pair it with my favorite red gingham skirt?! We shall see!

Even before I turned 16, driving was the most exciting thing I looked forward to. I even remember asking my mom questions like "don't you just LOVE driving?!" and "how does it feel to get behind the wheel?!" I couldn't wait to get behind the wheel and have the freedom to drive anywhere I want. So, when I finally got my license, all I wanted to do was drive. Even though driving is something that I still love to do and *try* not to take it for granted, I have never had a luxury car. In fact, I have always had a sensible car. So, when Autobahn Motors wanted to work together, I was very very excited to experience the luxury and excitement of a Mercedes Benz ride.

Even though it's been absolutely freezing here in the Bay Area lately, I have spring on the brain. Even though I am a self-proclaimed winter lover, I absolutely adore floral prints. I discovered Rebecca Taylor a few years ago and her pieces are some of the only ones that have actually lasted through multiple closet clean outs. I feel like her floral prints really speak to me. They're dainty but not childish, they're unique but pairable with many different things, and I absolutely love how Rebecca Taylor utilizes Victorian details, like the beautiful high neck on this specific blouse. I just adore her floral prints and end up wearing them over and over again throughout the spring and summer months.
